When to visit the Urgent Care Centre
You can visit the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) for conditions that require urgent attention but are not life-threatening. For example, someone with a painful sprain can visit the UCC for an X-ray to rule out a fracture, instead of visiting the emergency department of a hospital. Someone suffering from mild dehydration due to a gastrointestinal infection may also visit the UCC for an intravenous infusion to improve his condition.
Your visit to the UCC may happen via a referral from a GP clinic. You can also do a walk-in to seek treatment at the UCC.
